Cambodia’s foreign trade worth over 6 bln USD in 5 months
Cambodia’s trade with foreign countries amounted to 6.25 billion U.S. dollars in value in the first five months of this year, up 20 percent from the same period last year, according to statistics from the Commerce Ministry on Wednesday. During the January-May period this year, the country had exported products in equivalent to 2.59 billion U.S. dollars, up 27 percent from the 2.03 billion U.S. dollars recorded in the same period last year, the statistics said. … On the import side, the country had imported goods in equivalent to 3.66 billion U.S. dollars, up 16 percent from the 3. 15 billion U.S. dollars for the year-earlier period. …
